Mo3-L4a: What are Unicellular and Multicellular Organisms?

        Let’s Begin Humans, like most
                                                         other animals,
                                                         have four main
        Multicellular Organisms types of tissue:
                                                         - muscle
All cells in a multicellular organism come from one - connective,
cell: a fertilized egg. - nervous,
and epithelial. Muscle Tissue Epithelial Tissue
The process by which cells become different types of
        cells is called cell differentiation.

                                                                         Nervous Tissue Connective Tissue

The three main types of plant tissue are dermal,
                                                           vascular, and ground tissue.

Stem cells are unspecialized animal cells that are
able to develop into many different cell types.

        Plants have
        unspecialized cells
        similar to animal
        stem cells.
Organs are groups of different tissues working
These cells are together to perform a particular job.
        grouped in areas of
a plant called Organ systems are groups of different organs that
meristems work together to complete a series of tasks.

Tissues are groups of similar types of cells in
multicellular organisms that work together to carry
        out specific tasks
