                                                                              What is Physical Change?
                                                                   During a physical change, matter can change
                                                                   form, shape, size, or state, but the identity of
                                                                           the matter does not change.










                                                                  Matter either changes temperature or changes
               Conservation of Mass                                state when enough thermal energy is added or
                                                                                     removed.
               Conservation of mass refers to the fact that the total
               mass before and after a physical change is the same.  Mass is conserved during physical changes,
                                                                  which means that mass is the same before and
                                                                              after the changes occur
